Office1 comprises industry experts who take great pride in their work. As an authorized dealer of Ricoh office technology including copiers, multifunction printers, and document management systems, we value our partnership and take immense pleasure in working with some of the best products in this market segment.
For over a decade, we have been committed to maintaining our expert status as a Ricoh certified dealer, a commitment reflected in our receipt of the prestigious Ricoh Circle of Excellence award over the years and the rebooted Ricoh ProVision award last year.
This year, we are thrilled to announce that we have received the Ricoh ProVision 2025 award, marking our 12th year of service excellence!
What is ProVision 2025?
Ricoh ProVision 2025 certification is awarded to dealerships that meet specific training, service, and compliance criteria. This accreditation recognizes the expertise of service technicians in handling Ricoh machinery.
Only the top 60-ranked Ricoh dealerships out of approximately 300 businesses across the U.S. receive this prestigious certification. To qualify, Ricoh dealerships must fulfill rigorous requirements, including specific GPAs, training percentages, compliance standards, and registration obligations.
Mike Titus, VP of Service at Office1, applauded the company's achievement, "It doesn't surprise me that we won this award again. Office1 has the best technicians in the world."
This achievement underscores the extensive knowledge base of our Ricoh office equipment technical support team, serving as a true testament to their capabilities as certified Ricoh technicians.
Our Journey to Becoming Your Trusted Ricoh ProVision Dealer
To be considered for the ProVision Award, the following criteria must be met and reported:
Dealership Overall GPA
Office1 employs approximately 50 service technicians, all of whom are required to complete solutions training at the Ricoh Learning Institute. These courses, which focus on Ricoh technology solutions have resulted in our technicians' overall GPA of over 93%, significantly exceeding the required minimum of 70%.
According to Randy Herbst, Service Director at Office1, "We strive to make sure technicians are up to date on current product training as well as technical updates." This high training GPA reflects their expertise and commitment, which are essential factors in qualifying for the ProVision Award.
Training % 2 Per Purchased Model
For every Ricoh machine sold in the last 36 months, we must have at least two technicians trained on each model to qualify. Our technicians have participated in numerous training sessions over the years and continuously test their knowledge of every Ricoh machine to enhance their skills. Currently, 98% of our technicians are trained on all models we have sold.
Ricoh Product Safety Incident Reporting
At Office1, safety is our top priority. Our dealer service techs must receive at least an 85% or higher on this course, ensuring they are fully prepared to handle any situation. Notably, 100% of our IT services technicians are wholly trained in product safety and incident reporting.
Total Trained Technicians
Dealer partners must have at least 60% or more Ricoh-certified technicians to qualify for this award. Office1 continues to exceed this minimum requirement, with as many as 98% fully certified Ricoh technicians ready to provide exceptional service.
Whether it’s copier service, copier repair, or laser printer maintenance or office printer repair, a service request can quickly streamline repair and maintenance protcols to improve uptime, and ensure business continuity.
@Remote Registered Dealer with Connected Devices
@Remote is software available on all Ricoh MFPs. It automatically provides us with remote meter readings and maintenance alerts. Our Ricoh service engineers are all trained on the embedded @Remote product, and we currently have 17335 @Remote connected customer devices.
ARMS (Advanced Remote Mobile System) Training
The software known as ARMS (Advanced Remote Mobile System) provides remote access to Ricoh device data. This includes the machine's error history, firmware version history, PM counters, and basic machine information.
Leveraging this information increases the likelihood of a first-time fix with minimum downtime, and can help extend the device's life. The Ricoh dealership must have 75% or more technicians trained on this system. Office1's technicians maintain 100% training on ARMS.
Service Parts Training
All our team members go through rigorous maintenance service training on certified Ricoh machine replacement parts.
Must be a Sole Source Dealer
Office1 is a Ricoh ProVision dealer partner, which means we make exclusive use of genuine Ricoh parts and supplies. This ensures consistency and quality in our service operations. It’s also the best approach to providing the best customer support and achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
External Directory Registration
Following the mandatory requirements, Office1 is registered with the External Directory and has designated administrators, exceeding the minimum requirement of a single administrator.
PMR Compliance
All safety-related product modification requests (PMRs) that are due for completion in each calendar year must be fulfilled to qualify for this prestigious award. Office1 continues to meet this requirement consistently.
Celebrating Our Achievement Together
Ricoh's ProVision 2025 award continues to fuel our commitment to ongoing excellence. We're incredibly proud of our service technicians and their daily dedication, reflecting their deep expertise in Ricoh technology. Their outstanding customer service truly complements their technical skills.
Office1's Service Manager, Bill Fetzer, emphasizes, "What I admire so much about our service team is that they step up to whatever challenges they are presented. Every year since I have been at Office1, our technicians have participated and won us this prestigious award!"
We extend our sincere gratitude to Ricoh for this prestigious recognition. We are dedicated to continuous improvement and continue to focus on exceeding expectations and proving ourselves (yet again) in 2026.
