They had developed a habit of ordering printers individually for each new location, resulting in over 100 different printers of varying models. This required them to order various types of toner, making the entire fleet challenging to install, manage, and maintain. Office1 conducted a walkthrough printer assessment and cataloged 115 single-function printers, revealing a monthly toner supply cost of over $3,000. We determined there was no practical reason for the center to have so many single-function printers. Consequently, Office1 replaced the 115 existing printers with 63 new MFPs (multifunction printers). The center also gained access to Office1’s Customer Web Portal, allowing them to view and submit invoices and meter readings, request service, order toner, and more. They were also offered the opportunity to have their new printers monitored by Office1, enabling our team of experts to remotely track the health of the machines and automatically order supplies when levels were low.
