Initially, the construction company contacted Office1 through our website. Upon conducting a prompt analysis through an IT Health Check, we identified several areas of improvement along with potentially hazardous issues. First, the construction company was using hardware provided by their internet service provider, which, while not inherently bad, is designed for home use rather than a business environment. Additionally, the Office1 team discovered that firewalls were improperly configured, leaving some of the company’s critical information vulnerable to cyber threats. Furthermore, their computers were not regularly updated with the latest security patches or Windows updates. After being informed of all potential network discrepancies, the construction company did not hesitate to bring Office1 onboard as their fulltime managed IT service provider.
