Here at Office1, we believe that the foundation of our success is rooted in our incredible and highly talented team. In our "Inside the Office" series, we get the opportunity to put a spotlight on the people who keep innovating in order to push Office1 to new heights. This month, we get to know Field Service Technician David Toro from our Bay Area team.

David, what do you do for Office1?

I'm a field technician. I cover the San Francisco and Oakland area.

Where did you grow up?
I was born in New Jersey and lived there until I was 6 and then we moved to the Bay Area California until I moved to Miami, then I moved to Ecuador and lived there for 5 or 6 years. That's where I met my wife. We were high school sweethearts. Then I moved back to California where I graduated from Mt. Eden High School where I played soccer.

If you could pick a superpower, what would you choose?

I would pick the ability to read people's minds so I know what they are thinking.

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

When I was a kid, I wanted to be a professional soccer player. I wanted to play for Barcelona.

What was your first job?

My first job was as a fork lift driver for a Microsoft distribution center in Hayward.

What is your favorite part about living in Bay Area?

I love the weather. It's near the beach and the mountains. I get to go snowboarding during the winter and the beach during the summer.

What is your favorite thing about working for Office1?

I get to work on my own territory, my own customers. Every day is different. You get to meet different kinds of people and build new relationship.

Pick one of the three O's (Origin, Operation, Opportunity) and tell us what it means to you?

Opportunity, you get to learn, grow and better yourself.

What’s the biggest project on your to-do list right now?

Right now, I have some calls to work on a few machines and follow up with some customers. I want to make sure all of my calls are completed and my customers are taken care of.

What excites you the most about technology?

I like that it always changes. It moves quick. You always get to learn something different every year.

What is your biggest pet peeve?

Sometimes the traffic in the Bay Area can be really bad. During peak hours, it can take you a long time to get out.

What do you like to do in your free time?

During my free time, I spend time with my two daughters, they are 14 and 10. I help them with homework and take them to swimming lessons. I play soccer twice a week and I try to go to the gym three times a week.
